[Natsu Uta Nikki]
Hello~ ^ヮ^
It's Maimi
Yesterday, our senpai
Ishikawa Rika-san's play she's performing in
"Natsu Uta Nikki"
I went to watch it with Nakkii
Iya...After watching it, I thought about various things.
It was a really profound theme so I was wondering if I really could understand it and I was anxious but it was a play about nowadays and war and the atom bomb that was dropped in Hiroshima.
We're in a world where we can find information on the internet in our hands but
At those times, the only information you could get was from the radio broadcasts. In the middle of the war Japan was streaming false radio broadcasts but everyone believed firmly in it,
"I'll die fighting in this war....But Japan will win with me fighting in it!!...For the sake of my country, it'll be an honour to die for the people I love..."
and so many people lost their lives.
When I'm dying I'll understand, in a war.....I wonder what kind of feeling it is......
How much "honour" you say, it was scary wasn't it...it was heart-breaking wasn't it......
...........No, it's probably not like that.
We're living in peaceful times so we can't imagine it how it feels to go into battle right?...Your chest would really hurt.
It's been about 65 years since the atomic bomb fell onto Hiroshima and Nagasaki but to pass over this talk about that time now
we can't erase the past or forget about it I feel.
There are many who died in the war for their country and just for their loved ones and also for the people of the future I feel.
To be born in a time of peace, they built this peace for us, we must be grateful to those people right.
This has ended up being a drawn out post but this is to the extent of the many things I've thought about when I was writing it.....;
That's why everyone,
I want you to definitely go and watch "Natsu Uta Nikki" ^ヮ^
It seems there are performances in other places besides Tokyo such as Hiroshima!!
This has ended up being a different kind of entry than usual but ;
I'll pass the day with the leftover energy and happiness I have ^ヮ^
...Of course, everyone should too ♥
--------------------------
Ahh very deep Maimi... I always dread translating the long posts but in the end I never regret it! Because Maimi always have really good things to say -Risu
